He completed his foundation training in England before returning home to New Zealand, working as a surgical registrar in Northland and Christchurch. He commenced radiology training in Christchurch in 2021 and completed his training in 2025. In 2026, Aaron joined Allevia Radiology, where he is undertaking a fellowship in Musculoskeletal imaging, with a focus on both diagnostic imaging and image-guided musculoskeletal intervention.
