Certified carbon reduction
We’ve proudly held Toitū carbon reduce certification since 2021, using internationally recognised, science-backed methods to track and lower our environmental impact.

Switching to renewable energy
One of the most impactful changes we’ve made is switching the majority of the Allevia Radiology sites we manage to be certified renewable energy from Meridian. This now covers 60% of our total power use and supports the national shift to clean, renewable energy.

Smarter energy use
From ongoing energy audits to the installation of LED lighting, and auto-shutdown of PCs, we’re using energy more wisely without compromising the quality of care.

Reducing waste in every area
With colour-coded bins, soft plastic recycling, and a digital-first approach to patient forms and internal processes, we’re cutting waste while keeping hygiene and privacy top of mind.

We’re removing paper wherever we can, from referral forms to internal training, making our systems more efficient and more sustainable.
