Proud to be major Auckland sponsors of the 2026 Pink Ribbon Walk

Allevia Radiology and Allevia Breast Institute are excited to announce we're the major sponsors of this year's Auckland Pink Ribbon Walk, taking place on Sunday 11 October 2026 at Auckland Domain. We'd love to see our patients, their families and the wider community join us on the day.

What is the Pink Ribbon Walk?

The Pink Ribbon Walk is Breast Cancer Foundation NZ's flagship annual fundraiser, held every October in Auckland and Christchurch. It's a fun, family-friendly event open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level - walk a 5km loop of the Domain or take on the 10km route out to the waterfront and Britomart, with kids and dogs welcome along the way. Expect live music, sponsor games and food trucks, alongside the more important reason we're all there: nine New Zealand women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day, and every dollar raised helps fund breast cancer education, life-saving research and patient support.

Registrations are open now, and we'd encourage anyone thinking about taking part to sign up and get a team together.

Visit the Allevia Radiology / Allevia Breast Institute stand on the day

As the major sponsors, we'll have a stand set up and our team would love to see you there. Stop by for a free ice cream, ask us anything you'd like to know about breast screening and mammography, and if you're due for a mammogram, we can take your booking on the spot - no need to wait until you're back at your desk on Monday.

If you're over 40 and haven't had a screening mammogram in the past 12 months, you don't need a doctor's referral to book one - you can self-refer and self-book directly with us. If you have health insurance, a screening mammogram is usually covered by your policy.

One connected care pathway, start to finish

Allevia Radiology and Allevia Breast Institute work together as one team, so if a screening mammogram picks up something that needs a closer look, you're already connected to further imaging, diagnosis and specialist breast care under the same roof - without being passed between providers to figure out your next step.

Whether you're walking, cheering from the sidelines, or just due for your next mammogram, we'd love your support this October.
